so, an nft is a "non fungible token" most commonly, their these randomly generated, ugly pieces of art that you can buy with crypto (ex: bitcoin)

if you've seen those ugly ape drawings going around lately, those are some examples

their labeled as "one of a kind" because they're randomly generated, and they're attached to a blockchain.

now, nfts are really really bad. why, you may ask?

well first, nfts are pretty much always a huge scam.

second, they're ugly af

third, nfts are EXTREMELY harmful to the environment!! because they're attached to a block chain it takes up m***ive amounts of greenhouse gas to make one and which is awful for the earth. there are some brands that claim to be "more eco friendly" but thats not really true. so nfts cause insane amounts of environmental problems which is really bad, considering the state the earth is already in.

fourth, people always expect that the nft will go up in worth which almost never happens and the stock market always crashes so whats even the point of them?

theres a lot of other reasons but those are the main ones. like i said, they're really bad and stupid. like whos gonna pay $1,000,000 for a ugly picture of a bored ape?? nft bros i guess
