username not changing on photos

i changed my username about 3 days ago and it has not changed on the display thing for photos

just curious if this is something that needs to be waited out or if it's a bug

@Crumpet: I just found out you can change the creator when editing the photo which did the trick

The photo category pages are cached, but the cache system appears to just cache for however long it feels like caching for. I’m scared to change how it works in case it kills the server due to how fragile everything is on here. I can say though that logging in/out etc won’t help. It’s a global cache. It looks like the number of photos uploaded by all users plays a role in the caching, so you could try uploading another photo but it looks to me like other people have already uploaded plenty after you so that should have already cleared it.

@WisTeri_Ez: i'm on a different device rn and it's still that way maybe if i log out on both devices and back in it'll work, guess i'll wait and test it out when i can
