emcee for a talent show :DD

so my school is having a talent show n i wanna audition to emcee for it!!

i kinda need some help (even tho im very stubborn and dont like people helping me) writing a script for my audition n none of my friends know how to help meee

also if anyone could give me tips to get over nerves about being on stage.. i'd appreciate (although i do have some stuff to help me.. i dont wanna b acting all loopy on stage)

the best advice i can give is practice in the mirror a lot and pretend the audience isnt there. also get good at improv if u do end up fucking up

@catnoirmybeloved: i tried that when i auditioned for a solo in choir and it Did Not Work (yes it needed the capitals)

Oh I was once an emcee for my school's pep rally, I could possibly help with writing the script if you want! It's not too hard.

but i dont wanna use any str8 lingo because coming from me, its social sewer slide.

also the imagining people in their underwear... never seemed to work for me ://

ok so if ur nervous just like imagine something you like or imagine the crowd is in their underwear (movies?)

try to be funny but don’t try too hard, act as if it’s natural and go with the flow
