I am diagnosed, I think I was around 8-10 when they got me evaluated and stuff (but my parents could tell for a while that i was)

3. Have you gone to therapy for autism?

I don't remember but I know my mother was offered to put me in a program that would "help with my autism". it wouldn't, it would have just taught me how to be neurotypical, which you can't really do. Either way thankfully she didn't put me in it

4. What is your name, age, pronouns and gender

My name is Indigo, I'm 18, he/they, and a demiboy

5. How do you deal with meltdowns?

I'm not really sure, I guess its been a while since I've had one that was bad enough for me to actually go out of my way to deal with?

6. Or when did you find out?

I never really knew it until I think maybe a year or two after I was diagnosed, but I remember back then for some reason all my mom told me that Autism was is just something that makes it so you don't understand jokes or sarcasm, but I believe when I was 13-14 I looked it up and figured out what it actually was. It kinda hurt to know it was a lot of the reason people seemed to dislike me but at the same time I'm kinda glad I only thought it was a sarcasm thing cause otherwise I'd probably have ended up doing bad stuff to people and blaming it on my autism, which I'm very glad I don't do
