Yesterday found a Gachatuber that’s 9 and they watch seventhecrazycatlady (nsfw animator don’t support them!) and South Park. We also got them making dick jokes (wow buxley swore so shocking) and yea so parents watch your kids.. and I believe they have an online partner. Once again watch your kids

I did some weird crap on the internet at a similar age, but… wow. At least I didn’t talk to anybody. (Mostly.).

yeah as a parent I’m probably gonna restrict my kid to a flip phone and skool computer becuz everyone I’ve meet who has u supervised internet has collective trauma. Idc if every other kid has a phone or whatever. Being hip is not worth ruining a childhood for. Besides, a flipphone can contact their friends just fine. (I have a flipphone

@vflower_simp: yea i ended up finding their age in a comment section cuz they were talking to their partner cuz they got their period and they said this “I’m only 9 and I got my period is that even normal” and yea soo that’s weord

ikr dude- i did those to the same things (diffrent shows and stuff but still) if you dont pay attention, kids are gonna do stupid stuff. But thats also the same if your too overprotective. my parents just said "dont talk to anyone" at the start, but then they saw i was talking to a friend and got super strict, so i was idiotic and sneaky (all of the apps and websites on my phone are locked. i used the computer from my old school to do weird stuff, but i like this laptop for my new school because its the only thing keeping me sane rn-)

@xXToasted_TreasureXx: yes, thats a good idea! just please dont restrict them to the point where they cant talk to anyone or do anything, my parents did that and i did a lot of dangerous stuff on the internet

(i personally think as long as the kids know how to use the internet safely and they have a trusted adult to talk to, they should be ok.)

@Miya: Yeah, i have to agree, before w/ my old parents, they let me go wild on the internet (which, was really bad and I did some stuff that I am not proud of, and have moved on), then with my new ones, I can't even talk to people I know irl though my phone, All I can do is take pictures and, what, check the time? i can't even call my own parents, that's how strict it is, Parents need to find a middle ground

Mostly, they just need to be smart on the internet, like, not sharing personal info, I do understand where some parents mean when there restrictive, but to the point where they damage there child? (like they have w/ me without even know, due to personal stuff) its not ok

@Glitchy_XDD: yea, as long as the kid knows not to share personal info and why, theres no reason they shouldnt be aloowed to have a phone to play games and stuff. I cant even really tak photos because my parents will go through them and make fun of me.

@Miya: oof, i have to be careful what photos I take, because my parents know everything I do on my phone, some parents are just, really weird with that type of stuff, its also weird that my little brother is able to play games (which, is not bad at all, if I was allow 2 I would 100% do) in his phone but I cant
