what are your controversial bead opinions?

mine is that i don't like pearlescent beads. sometimes they're ok but for the most part i find them kind of tacky & unpleasant to look at, and much prefer a regular opaque bead—or, if we're getting shiny with it, a nice iridescent/AB.

also, heart beads with horizontal holes should be the norm! i don't know why they are so hard to find... bless beadtin.com for carrying them.

I don’t like the letter beads that are rlly tiny they just kind of look stupid compared to all the other pony beads you have on the bracelet I have some number beads but they r really tiny and I want to hit them with a hammer but they r my only number beads so I’m stuck with them :

clay beads are hideous. they get dirty easily and break a lot dollar store string is top tear because of how stretchy it is

clay beads suck tbh. they're too thin and you need like a million of them for a simple single thats actually 28 pony beads long.

the really thin beads that can be bought like, on a string or whatever when u get them bulk, absolutely suck ;-; idk im just so used 2 pony beads and i have no idea how one could coordinate colours on that scale

I really love polymer clay beads yeah they can get dirty but omg they're so cute

Seed beads and pearlescent beads can either be pretty or hideous. There's no in between

i just wish pony beads were easier to find were i live… no hobby lobby… no walmart…. No target… no dollar store…. Only craft store in town doesnt even sell them and the ones they do sell come in small packages and arent even opaque, either iridescent or translucent which is everything but what i need. Wish i didnt have to order online every time i need new supplies is all

Pearler bead opinions, but imo Hama beads look kinda ugly ???????? and if you dare to leave holes in your melt, you are a vile creature you deserve your melts snapping in half at the slightest whack /lh /s

also I HATE any weird shaped bead except stars and specialty shapes (animals n stuff). Like Tri-beads, hearts, the weird starburst/fan looking ones just blech they feel disgustang to wear idk

EDIT THEY’RE SUNBURSTS I WAS SO CLOSE but ewww I hate the way they feel :’0
