Okay, so right now I have barely any beads to make kandi, and I haven’t seen anyone talking about it specifically, but could you use paper beads in kandi?

working on getting elastic though

Yes, you can! I have a few singles that incorporate beads I made from paper and varnished with mod podge. Make sure to get some good thick coats on there until the surface is smooth and rigid so they don't get crushed.

Probably, I mean try and make them in a similar size to pony beads and relatively strong. Hope it works out!
