Why do you make kandi?

I make kandi because i went through alot in the past 2 years and have depression and when ever i make it i just feel calm and i forget about everything else in the world, so what about you?

I make kandi to show my creativity, individuality, and to help make others aware of the Rave scene and how its not all about drugs and stuff like that. I was the first kandi kid in my school and I hope some of my friends or other kids at my school will learn the meaning behind my kandi and why i wear it.

i started because a friend of mine made alot of bracelets and gave me a single and i wanted to make my own bracelets so i boughta small tub of random beads and string (it was a flat thick plastic one >.<) and made alot

then i wanted to make BIGGER things so i found this site and i was like WHOA WTF XD and now i just completed my own type of rpoject and a wallet

ITS SO MUCH FUN

also when i wear them to places like school i love how people freak out and someimes praise them

cuz i mean who doesnt like a little bit of "omg thats so cool" lol

Longish post is coming When I first started making kandi it was for the fact that I enjoyed how it looked, and how it could add brightness to any outfit. As I created more and more I realized it was a release, it calmed me down and cleared my mind because you can't really focus on anything else while making it. As well I love the creativity of it, the freedom and beauty. I have made so many friends from it My best guy friend I met because of my kandi, I give it to strangers, start conversations, it grabs people's attention and ends up having a friendship. I have taught many people how to make it, and it just becomes a bond of sorts. I Hope I never stop making kandi simply because all it has done for me <3

Same as you :O It calms me down, and I have a little bit of anxiety, so it keeps my hands moving. I love it. There's just something about it that makes me happy while making it.

I make kandi for a number of reasons. I mostly make it for my friends, or for new friends at raves. I love giving out names and then giving them a big piece of kandi c: I love how it can create common grounds for friends. I know those who wear lots of it normally keeep PLUR in mind. And those are the type of people I want to associate myself with. I also make it because I love having accesories to match my outfits. I also like making big projects and wearing them to school so I can educate people correctly about the rave scene, and obviously PLUR.

Kandi is colorful and cute and wearing lots of colors makes me feel happy. I feel so expressive too wearing kandi, because I make kandi that's inspired by all the things I love. :3
