mm name confusion

so like,,, my name is miao/mao, right? well, also the name max is just 100/10 but like i dont know if its ok to change my name again cuz like,,, i also like miao as my name it makes me happy but also just max i think might make me happier? i dont know aaaaa

ok so as someone who changed their name from deadname to mars to mason heres some advice:

so if youve like came out to school and like changed your name in the school system, you can really just do the whole name thing again. If youre like about to start high school or something you should probably wait to change it then so people wont really care cuz they just met you. Or you can just change it over the summer or right when the school year starts so it's still less of a thing. Also since miao is an unusual name people will probably understand if you wanna change it but be prepared that every once in a while people will be like "why u change twice " but itll blow over. also expect people to still call you miao sometimes because since its not your deadname they dont really care that much

If you aren't sure, say you also go by Max as well as Miao and Mao. That way, you can test out the name and see how people react to it. If they get annoyed because you're trying something new to figure yourself out, they aren't worth it.

@Shoyu_Ramen: oki! i just,,, i kinda feel a lil bad cuz people r recently used to using miao and i was like "can i pull a switcherooni??" and i've decided that yes, i think i can : )
