hello i was thinkin and like. wyhy do ppl put "dni racists/homophonics/transphpbics/etc!!" in their bios n stuff? like those kinds of people would just... not care and do it anyways. i understand like, idk i guess people who ??? dont like specific media? like "dni omori likers" or somthing ?? but?? tey could just not talk about that?? like i think even i have ?? the stereotypical dni if blah blah but i just Dont understand can someone please explain

sorry if this is so weird im autistic and genuinely dont undetstand

fr tho also what happenes when someone like really really multifandom like there in this fandom that a person likes but there bio like "dni: this spefic fandom like??

For example someone like dni dsmp but the person in the homestuck fandom which is what the dni person likes??????

personal comfort is the main reason i see dnis !!!! the only reason i have a dni tbh is bc the ppl on my dni (like radfems, battleaxe bis and stuff, exclus) make me uncomfy, its just for personal comfort reasons !! think of it as just another way to state boundaries, thats pretty much all dnis are lol, theyre just personal boundaries to make someone elses online experince safer for them.

honestly idk. ive always thought dnis were incredibly stupid and pointless, it just gives people ammo to attack you, you'll just have people that apply under your dni in the comments pestering you. sad2
