scene: the feeling of staying up way too late on some roblox animal roleplay game while blasting too loud music on just after downloading so many “free” games that are just viruses, the smell of pokemon cards, the feeling of your mouth hurting from eating too much candy

glitchcore: when your brain feels wired to a speaker and nothing else matters besides you and that music, your brain feels electrified in such a unique way

grunge (?): walking on the road in the middle of the night just after chugging some caffine, dancing under the streetlight while trying to ignore everything else

emo - the smell of dirty laundry and fresh leather, walking through a record store, the spiny sound cds make, getting eyeliner on your hands, listening to loud music at 2am when you can't sleep, trying random energy energy drinks, walking empty streets, finding real converse at goodwill, breaking your shoelaces while skateboarding, the way my brain feels cold when I'm high, pissing off the in school suspension teacher, hiding in the corner of the classroom with your friends so you can hit your nic and drink your monster

goblincore - screaming at the night sky, picking up every single rock you find, looking for mushrooms, sitting outside and drawing over lunch period, climbing trees in the grave yard, painting on your skin, going to old bookstores, the way a thrift store smells, biking to the park, collecting dice, leather bound books

punk: spikes, diy patches, leather jacket, listening to ramones, vibing in your room at 3am, getting your anger out via music, diy everything, being told yours a poser because you aren't wearing this specific thing or that thing (not fun), saying fuck the world and fuck everything

hair metal / 80s metal & thrash metal (just starting out so please bare with me): hairspray, a literal cloud of hairspray, mötley crüe and warrant and guns n roses blasting through your headphones, wishing you could go back to the 80s, feeling like it really truly is the 80s again when you listen to the music

50s style (starting out): the twist, vibing to buddy holly, vibing to ritchie valens, formal suit wear, dancing all types of 50s dances, loving but also hating elvis, crying your heart out when you remember 3 feb 1959

kidcore: primary colors, stickers, rainbows, literally just fucking rainbows, too much rainbow kandi, flower cuffs, listening to hyperpop music, just chilling out and forgetting the harshness of the world

grunge - flannels and ripped jeans, breaking out the nirvana tees and screaming along to hole and nirvana and alice in chains, just basically acting like kurt cobain if you want and wishing he was still here and still alive

goblincore - walking around by the river looking for bugs n cool rocks, ur friends yelling at u to stop eating grass, staying up all night sewing the cool buttons u found today onto a beanie covered in just buttons, napping in a tree, ugly baggy sweaters n muddy boots

folk punk - lottas banjos, trumpets, n awful vocals but in a good way, sleeping on the roof of an old cvs w ur best friend, running around on train tracks as the sun sets, plain black coffee, rolling down hills w ur partner, getting covered in dirt, train hopping across the states, chunky boots, overalls covered in patches n mud, love for animals

crust punk/gutter punk - running away n going homeless w ur best friend, piercing yourself w a safety pin, banging ur head against a wall, baggy crust pants n battle vests that smell awful, having to drench everything in cologne, being high most the time, jokingly bashing urself n ur close friends, collecting different types of knives, skateboarding down a super steep hill n almost bashing ur head in, hanging around in the woods surrounding a cemetery, running away from the cops, exploring abandoned buildings, laughing at dumb shit, sniffing sharpies n glue, an iq of basically 0, almost getting killed on the daily, pissing on trump signs, tagging the places u most often go to w dumb shit, loud aggressive screaming, being as scary as possible when in reality u would do the best u could to help ppl

emo/grunge (idk what to call it): drinking monsters, blasting mcr and arctic monkeys, dark eyeliner/makeup, staying out late at train stations w ur best friend, ripped jeans, fishnet/fingerless gloves, layered chain necklaces and bracelets, hot topic, converse, combat boots

fairygrunge: crystals, mushrooms, frogs, cats, dark forests, moss, long skirts like this, evil eyes, shirts like this, these necklaces layered with chains, fingerless gloves, evil eyes, dark green brown and cream colours, boots

weirdcore/dreamcore: liminal spaces, eyes with wings, empty grass fields, blue skies with limited clouds
