SYSTEMS THIS IS FOR YOU

ChaosCubeCouncil 11/13/2022 05:47 pm 939

So I just thought about it, is it possible to have an entire system where every alter is a fictive/introject? Also what other kinds of alters are there? I'm looking into DID more because I myself have a Dissociative disorder and want to know about the other kinds of Disorders under the Dissociative spectrum!(did I use that right??) Anyways is it possible to just have fictive/introject alters and or only have one alter other than the host within the headspace? /gen also hope everyones having an absolutley amazing day/night 1.gif

@GalaxyKodaShifter297: yeah, each one could have a different disability! It's not super common to have lots of alters with disabilities like that in system (unless the body already has that disability of course), but it could happen! And yeah, the disabilities can be different from what the body has! This can only happen with certain disabilities though, and not others. Also, you don't sound rude at all!! However, not every system has a "first host", or someone who identifies with the body (same name, age, etc.) but it is more common. The term that I think you mean is "the body" which is the physical body that the system has. The "first host" and "body" are different, every system has a body, but not every system has a "first host" who identifies with the body if that makes sense. But yeah, alters can have different disabilities that the body does not normally have!

@Saplingsys: I knew about them having different ages, genders, species, stuff like that, but I didn't know about the vision and stuff! So could each have a different disability I.E. one alter has full blindness and another has full deafness? Also could alters not have the same disabilities as the first host? (sorry if that's a rude term I'm still learning; I mean the original person before they developed the Disorder)
