I've been doing theater for about a year now and ive become really passionate about it, my school's last show was The Little Prince (I played the Desert Flower/Ensemble Member and I was an understudy for the Lamplighter-) and now im just kinda waiting for the musical to be announced for me to audition-

Anyone else here do theater? I would love to hear about shows/stories from your experiences! :3

i painted the set! and i ushered!

not much but it was so much fun!!!!!!

Here’s a theater story:

A while ago I was in a play. And it was a play with a pretty big plot twist where my character finds out their real name. So in the scene before the plot twist this other character was supposed to come onstage and call my character by their real name so they can find out what their real name is. But the actress DIDNT COME ONSTAGE to deliver the plot twist so it was just me and this other actress standing there in awkward silence for like a minute then we had to improv like: “uh so anyways I gotta go” “yeah uh see you around goodbye” and then the plot twist didn’t make any sense

I love theater!!been in like 7 musicals, (8 this year) We're doing the Addams family this year

I love doing theatre! I have way too much anxiety to be in a show, but I have taken every practical theatre class my school has to offer (ones where we aren't just sitting and studying). I also worked on the costume crew for a show my school put on when I was 15 (it was a farce called Black Comedy) and it was super fun, and since I was in stagecraft at that time I also got to help build the set! Now i'm retaking stagecraft (it's repeatable at my school) and I get to help build the set for the musical we're doing this year which is Spongebob.
