Help with gender stuff

for a while i thought i was non-binary but I’m actually kinda comfortable with feminine terms and I’m super feminine and use they/she. I’ve figured out I’m a demi-girl. Can I still go by Sprout or do I go back to my deadname? /genq my deadname still gives me dysphoria and also I’m like super used to sprout by now.

do whatever makes you happiest!! if that’s not a good enough answer I think that sprout is a really good name and you shouldn’t use your deadname if it gives you dysphoria.

u dont have to use ur deadname if ur not ok with it! name does not equal gender, just remember that!! like i have a guy friend whos name is suzana and he likes that name!! (its his preferred name btw) /pos

@InkclawXwX: it was my original intention with it. Back then (2 years ago) I thought I was genderfluid and sprout seemed fitting for masculine femine and gender-neutral.

I 4 one, Dont think names have a gender, Names are to tell a person who you are. And If your dead name, donest truely tell who you are, (or just uncomfy w/ it) Then don't use it! Do whatever feels right to YOU /pos

laughbeating hearta preferred name is there to make you feel more comfortable, and if your deadname makes you uncomfortable then don’t use it. I think sprout is cute and feminine :3

if ur deadname gives u dysphoria dont use it -if u dont feel sprout represents u anymore find a new name u like to go by, but it doesnt need to be ur deadname just cuz u feel a little more fem than non-binary. here's hoping to a good and positive experience in ur pathway to self-discovery :3

Just because you now identify differently, doesn't mean you have to go back to your deadname!! Especially if it gives you dysphoria. It is 100% ok to still go by Sprout, and besides, that probably fits you much better rainbowsmile /gen /pos
