help attatching figures to singles?

howdy yall (this is unironic thats literally how i talk) i was wondering if there were any alternative ways of attaching figures to singles? I know i can drill through figures like mlp toys and the like but i dont have constant access to a smaller drill, the one i do have is my dads and he doesnt want me diggin through his stuff for his hand drill and tiny drill bit 514c8a1d997b7_w13.gif. so hence the question. are there any alternative ways of attaching figures to singles? 514c8a28ed9fc_w25.gif

This is how I learned/the method I use for it ^^


For softer plastic, I take a giant needle (darning needle, I think?) and poke through, no heat required. Just takes a little determination!

for small plastic charms i sometimes hold an embroidery needle over a flame until it's hot enough to melt through the plastic
(not exactly the safest idea though)
and sometimes the needle will get stuck in the charm
