question about kandi charms

im trying to figure out how to make kandi charms and i noticed they seem similar to how you make bead lizards?? im not sure if they are made the same way or not but if someone could tell me if they use the same technique or theres a different way to make them that would be very helpful!!

edit: someone has explained to me that they are basically made with the peyote stitch but advice and linking tutorials are still appreciated!!
