is he microchipped? also send information about your cat to all the local vets/animal shelters along with your contact information (name, picture, identifying marks, etc)

@bugz_35: ofc!! i know that cats develop the ability to find their way around just based on sounds and smells within the first week of living in a area but im not sure if he has been out enough to be familiar with being outside but hopefully he can use this to get back in the area depending on how far he wandered off to

try looking from him holding something he knows the sound of, like a bag of treats or a toy with a bell on it. i hope you find him safe and unharmed soon

i'm gonna be honest i have no clue, this is personally one of my worst nightmares to happen. the only thing i have in mind is always keep an eye out for him when you go outside and maybe make posters too but i'm not sure if that would help. another thing that would be good is let all of your neighbors know and friends that live near by just so you have a extra help and also any family or friends that live with you. i hope this helps but im so sorry your going through the stress of losing him. i really hope you get him back soon, good luck :}
