When my partner's cat went missing we put an article of clothing that smelled like his favorite person outside the door with some cat food and treats. My city has a facebook group that people can post lost pets in and if someone finds a pet they post it there so if you or your parents have facebook you could see if your area has a thing like that. I hope you find your cat

From the Human Society: https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/how-find-lost-cat#:~:text=Knock%20on%20doors%20and%20hang,help%20get%20the%20word%20out.

Also, a lot of newspapers will run lost pet classified ads for free. Give yours a call - it's how we found our dog.

i would also recommend that you and/or your parents post information about your lost cat on any neighborhood facebook places (older people hang out on facebook) and/or something like nextdoor (which is an app people use to inform people about stuff going on in the neighborhood.) there's also usually reddit pages for communities/cities, but i would recommend using a throwaway reddit account not connected to your main if you already use reddit. there's also several lost animal apps you can post about your cat on but i need to find the infographic
