Sometimes it's hard seeing past all of the horrible stuff so I want to hear some of your positive trans stories/experiences!

i don't identify the same as when this story happened so.. lol.

one of my friends called me the name i was going by at the time in class (was not out to anyone besides them and like three other people, all friends with going by it) and the kid sitting next to me was like "oh you're going by [name i was going by]? are your pronouns still the same?" it was so nice and i still think about it occasionally (this happened last year)

One was when I was school clothes shopping and bless the worker istg, this was around the time I was first starting to identify as enby, and they called me "him" and while i wasnt male at least i was misgendered as such ;-;

And my art teacher, whos also enby but i didnt know at the time, but they were the first teacher I asked if they could use they/it/xe for me and they were so much help i love them sm they are my favorite teacher tbh jump

i went to dinner for my birthday in cosplay one time (kazuichi soda from sdr2) and the waitress said "can i take you plate sir" that was the first time i had been correctly gendered by someone i didnt know. At the time i was still using he/they pronouns

i’ve been attending a local trans youth group weekly pretty regularly and the ability to connect to community members and see adult trans people (primarily the group facilitators) who i can look up to has been just so awesome
