How do i convince my mom to get me a phone

I sound like some dumb 11 yr who wants a phone, but im 14 and i got mine taken away 3 YEARS ago. It was bc i had a tiktok acc and posted on there that my mom didnt support me lmao. Anyway besides that, i just really NEED a phone. im not tryna be some dumb brat i fr need one. Im doing basketball and lacrosse (after school) and i walk to and from the busstop. I did lacrosse last year without a phone, only bc my friends were on the team. But this year none o my frineds r on the team besides one who is more like a person i say hi to once n a while. IDK man i just want and need one really bad and my mom hasnt said that shes gunnna even consider getting me one.

this always works for me, say something like it's to make you safe, it’s sounds stupid, but if you live in a country where there’s literally shooting outside your house it's a good excuse, I'd tell you to scare her, but it can go wrong

They bought me my first phone because I scared my dad, I made him believe the idea that it was dangerous for me to walk alone to my house (it was 2019)

also just try to convince her by saying that u need it to contact her and to call someone if smth bad happens? or maybe tell her how dangerous it is to walk alone somewhere w/o anything to call for help if smth happens to u, idk im not good at giving advice like this but hopefully she gets u a phone soon

make a slide show. It worked for my friend who also didn't have 1 till 14. Like include safety if u get like kidnapped or sum.

omzee same i used to have one but it got taken away because i came out as pan so I've been using my mums phone for 4 YEARS and im literally gonna be in highschool in a year

If your mom says no, you could save up the cash to buy one in-person.

There might be a Best Buy or some similar electronics store near you, you might be able to buy a phone there. They usually don't have Apple, I've seen Samsung though. Prices are usually about $40-$100, but I've seen older phones for like $30 if you don't have a lot of cash.

I do understand that this isn't a great option though, since if there isn't a store in walking distance from you, you can't really do much. Good luck on getting a phone!
