No my current school but my old elementary school. They banned thoes invisable ink pens because kids were drawing all over the place and on eachother. They still sold them at the book fair tho

They banned water bottles. WATER BOTTLES. If you want to use one, you have to have a doctor's note, like tf?

Hmmmm There's not much in my old school that's but I have some from elementary They banned class bathroom breaks cuz we would wave to the fifth graders They also banned wearing earrings cuz they somehow distract everyone

i'm long gone from catholic school but just to name a few: long hair on boys, short hair on girls, girls wearing pants (prior to myself taking it up with authorities and getting it changed i'm still proud of this ok), having anything but water in your drink bottle (juice, cordial, soda? NOPE!), bracelets (i was forced to CUT MINE OFF), nail polish, makeup, peircings anywhere other than the ear lobe, the wrong colour socks, the wrong colour HAIR ELASTIC, et fucking cetera.

oh yeah more on the random side and less on the religious extremism side: staple gun. during the yearly festival at my primary school (so prep/pre-school to year 6) we revamped a classroom into a haunted house and some of the older kids (about 12 years old) thought it would be a good idea to chase the entrants around with a staple gun. cue my friend's younger (maybe 7ish?) brother having to be sent to hospital with a staple inside his forehead.

my school banned wearing animal ears and tails (people were being made fun of and this guy who threatened to sh00t the school had wore them and was bullied for it so and there was also a rumor going around about how kids were asking for a litter box to be put in the bathroom and stuff about furries so ofc I still hide that I’m a furry from everyone) and also bringing stuffed animals to school which was terrible for me because I have anxiety so I used to bring this lil glass bead stuffed frog it was like a weighted blanket deal were it made me feel better but now I can’t have it even tho it literally fits in the palm of my hand
