how is it so hard to stop supporting problematic people?? just stop watching their content?? like ffs yall give any excuse to support people who have done shitty things.

Even in a "separate the art from the artist" situation it feels weird bc does no one else still think about what the person has done or is that just me?

I'm not gonna mention the creator because they don't deserve it, but I looked up to them for years, I was always watching their content, and I was obsessed with them, and that's where I would go for comfort when I wasn't doing so good. I admired and really loved them for years. So when they had their controversies, of course I was made because it affects some things to do with my life, but god they were like a parent to me after my mom left and my dad just gave up, and I don't support them anymore but i still think about all the times i trusted them and they were there for me, whether they knew it or not, and it took me almost a year to stop supporting them fully because i was so attached. So dont act like its always that simple ffs

to the like 3 pppl saying its not that easy, i supported dsmp since it got popular in 2020, was super attached to every single cc (sm that i have fictives of MULTIPLE of the ppl so thats still stuck w me lmao.) and i looked up to them heavily then i saw how horrible they were in like april 2021 and stopped supporting them and watching them so YES it is that mf easy

¨Itz not that easy!¨ it literally iz. i waz literally in the fandom for about a year and was supperrr into it but az soon az the people started saying and doing transphobic, lesbiphobic, homophobic, racist stuff along with SA jokez and queerbating i just left. itz so easy to stop supporting people but ppl deny it?? itz aggravating :l
