Is anyone else’s school this way

I’m in my senior year of high school and I only need to take 2 classes to graduate (math n English), but the school says I need to take a full 7 class schedule. So instead of just going to school for like 2 hours, I’m stuck doing random art electives for 8 hours. I legit just sit and watch YouTube majority of the day

It’s even worse because the job I really want and qualify for is hiring, but the school says I have to waste my time!

im a freshman but i have like 12 music electives a week shock

edit: im not 14 i just got held back

Yeah, you have to be there a minimum number of hours, though it's not always the whole day. My senior year was almost entirely weenie electives and study hall. I read a lot.

i think my school requires us to take at least 5 classes senior year so ill be stuck with a lot of art electives too (at least 3 i think)

but that won't be for another couple years

i could probably take a culinary class or something cause it's a two period class (can't get much done in one 55 minute class period)

but yea my schools defo similar lol

I work in a classroom at my school, it gives me credits and i get payed to play with kids all day lol (But my school is kinda like this lol)
