im sorry i love greek mythology!

my favorite god is Dionysus personal and nonpersonal reasons why I like him so much ,,, I really like chimeras as my fav mythical creatures! i have a cool statue of one i bring to school sometimes

I remember reading a story on how Dionysus turn some pirates into dolipions

@Glitchy_XDD: (whispering) chimeras are a real type of animal! theyre a relative of sharks. ik its not actually the myth, but i thought that'd be cool to tell you, since you mentioned liking chimeras.

How many stories about Apollo’s lovers are there?

Is there a single story NOT somehow caused by Zeus’ inability to keep it in his pants? /j

What is your fav myth?

Have you read Percy Jackson? Do you find it more or less accurate to actual Greek mythology?

1) there are sixty myths about Apollo falling in love, four of which are about him falling in love with men! all of his male loves were mortal as well.

2) genuinely,,,,,like,,, zeus is always like awooga women and causes a f-cking war

3) my favorite myth is the story of Achilles and Patroclus, but I also love Theseus and his myth I like telling the story of Theseus' rise and fall from glory the most, it just, narratively is so interesting!!

4) I did read Percy Jackson!! It gets a lot of the mythology references right, but isn't nessecarily accounting for the historical context of them? Like, historically the myth of Medusa stated that she was blessed with the ability to turn men to stone rather than cursed, but Percy Jackson uses the more modern interpretation of that, and you see that throughout. Same thing with Gaia, she participated in a war against the gods but was never evil per say. Do I hate Percy Jackson though?? No! I think it's great! But it's fantasy, not based strictly on the actual myths, especially their lesser known versions
