thoughts on FNAF movie?!

i saw it yesterday and i LOVED IT!! i wanna know you guys's thoughts on it!! (p.s. i'm in the process of posting pictures of some singles i made for the opening night )

i'm planning on seeing it at least two more times with friends who wanna go see it

OH ALSO funny thing happened in my theater where just as the movie ended RIGHT before the credits rolled, someone in the very back said a very quiet "yippeeeee!" which caused the whole theater to burst into laughter

edit: I SAW IT AGAIN AND LOVED IT EVEN MORE. ALSO NOTICED THAT KELLEN GOFF VOICED FOXY RAAAAAAH

me and the person I watched it with went feral when matpat appeared and when William Afton said "I always come back". I really liked it.

personally for me, i thought josh hutcherson did an absolutely amazing job!!!! i thought the casting was all pretty good and the acting was great!! the writing was a little iffy, but i enjoyed it anyway!!!! i almost cried (in a good way when i heard the living tombstone at the end lol

To all the people saying it "doesn't match the lore" you need to keep in mind, that we don't know that. We only get what Scott and SteelWool puts in the games, and even MatPat says at the end of all of his theories (he even said it in the dang movie) "that's just a theory"

Is the movie aligned with the generally accepted canon among fans? No. Does that mean it isn't canon to the story that Scott and his team are creating? He|| no!!

you also have to remember that we're supposedly getting 2 more films (william's actor has a contract for 2 more movies)

It wasn't what I was expecting but I thought it was really good!!!!! I didn't have the best theater experience because people wouldn't shut up and stop getting up. Like the guy who sat next to me (he's my friend and I love him but jeebus christ) wouldn't stop talking to me, going in and out of the theater, and at one point he got on his phone.

I think matpat had the scariest jumpscare of all /j

NO AND THAT STUPID BALLOON BOY he scared me both times (I survived the end credit scene)

also vanessa is williams daughter?????????????????? like what?????

I thought it was fun...but not more than that I kind of thought some of the dialogue was way too on the nose and Vanessa was just kinda of there for exposition dumps and not really written too well, and William was only there for like 5 seconds as sequel bait... But overall I enjoyed it I knew what I was getting into I didn't think the movie was going to be groundbreaking or anything and I knew it wasn't going to have game accurate lore, I really just wish they did more with the spring lock scene, I really don't think non FNaF fans will get the enjoyment that a FNaF fan does
