anyone getting sick??

aight sorry for the shit ton of threads I've posted but this is the last one for a while

but like- as anyone else been getting sick lately? like during and after the holidays cuz half my family is sick and my friends (who live far away from me) have also been getting sick? ik covid is going on and its flu season but js wondering if anyone else has been under the weather

My whole family (the members that live with me) just got over this really bad cold/flu thing and then like a week later all my other family members n parents coworkers all test positive for covid so that is fun /s

covid is absolute hell in australia right now, particularly in my state and new years celebrations are only gonna make it worse.

i have actually been sick with a cold (or i really fucking hope thats all it is) for the past few days. lmao i know that sounds so sus, but i've definitely been under the weather.

i actually know a ton of people who got covid over winter break (including me lmao), and i think one big factor is the fact that a lot of people thought "oh it's dying down so i can go out and do stuff for the holidays and be more lax about wearing masks and yada yada" which is understandable i guess?? but a lot of people are getting sick again and especially in the area i live in, there has been a steady rise in cases :[
