My BFF loves mcyts but I’d rather die than watch mcyts

she keeps bringing up mcyts and I wanna give them proof that that they are awful ppl but every time she keeps screaming and cursing at me.

I start shaking really hard bc if it and she acts like she isn’t the reason.

When I give her proof, her only explanation is “ur taking it out of context” or “why is it so serious to you” like, well, idk, maybe , just maybe, it’s effects me directly and is harming my communities

I love her to death but I also wanna sock her in the face sometimes.

@Gay: that's a fair thing to be scared of, but time will only tell if you can be close again in the future. if you can drift apart naturally while still trying to be friendly in the non minecraft ways, chances it won't end in some depressing ass fight. im not gonna respond further bcs back and forths are also depressing, but I have been in similar situations before nd its not worth that inevitable, big fight. in any case letting it go is the healthy option.

@Gay: stop talking to her, it really doesn't sound like either of you are gonna be good for each other. if it's getting to a point where you can't hand out anymore, you don't have to completely drop her but you can step away a little bit. I really don't know how else this can end

@trickster_brostrider: I understand and I’m trying to but when she knows that these mfs are terrible and still supports them, it gets me aggravated and i try to back outta the convo and change the subject but she just gets so mad and screams at me and i just don’t know what to do.

I try to go along with it and I’ve asked her to not talk about it but she just keeps doing it. I don’t know what to do

@Gay: fine, better example- my BFF + girlcrush went through a HUGE "straight tiktok" phase. I don't get it, a lot of tiktokers are gross and weird, but she saw something in that kind of content. Nothing I said was gonna get her to stop enjoying that shit, I'd rather die then watch it myself. But we stayed frineds, becuase we love each other. I did very openly think they were weird and gross but I didn't bitch about it when she would show me a vid because she was exited about it and it made her happy

I don't know how to explain this any better, shes' clearly not gonna change her interests for you so the best thing you can do is leave it alone
