Is making a dreamcatcher out of perlers insensitive?

So in all honesty I don't know much about dreamcatchers but i've heard that you shouldn't make your own or if you want one to buy it from an authentic seller; but I found a style that I would really like to make so would it be insensitive if I did make it? Please inform me about this.

hey !! native american here big grin, it IS a bit insensitive as Dreamcatchers are a important part in my culture, They truly are beautiful and it is 100% okay to own one even if you aren't native but please don't decorate them or use them for aesthetic purposes *3*

@ImNotOkayIPromise: a dream catcher is a sacred object, and making some little bead one thatll be treated practically like a toy is yaknow.. disrespecting the real sacred ones.
