hey there demons its me ya boi

(no idea how to write these but here goes)

so i see all this cool amazing kandi, all these bulky epics, right? and i havent been to school in like, 2 years now so i have no idea myself but.... how do i wear kandi to school? like cuffs and shiz. can i just slap a ton of it on my arms and call it a day? is it uncomfy when you have to put your arms on a desk or write/type? bro what if one randomly breaks in the hallway??? what about hoodies and jackets?! (i happen to reside in a place with seasons so you bet your arse i'm layering in the winter) do you put them on top or underneath? can't tell if i'm just too new to all this or if i'm geniunely too out of the loop (with anxiety lmao) but answers are appreciated!

hi! I wear Kandi to school a lot and I’m just careful Tbh. To prevent from cuffs being too tight, I wear arm socks, which does also help keep ur arms warm in cold weather! I’ve also worn perler necklaces and tbh the best thing to do it just be cautious and don’t put too much pressure on em. For gym class it just takes me a bit to get everything back on lol. I do get stares but I’m a kinda scary person so no one’s really gone out of their way to ask about my outfit lmao. I personally find my cuffs n things comfy, and easy to write with. But that’s a personal thing ig lol. I also push up my hoodie sleeves to wear Kandi as well. Sorry for the rlly long comment!!

TL;DR: just be careful tbh! raining cloudcheer

i recommend, if u do wear it, to put it on ur non-dominant hand so that it doesnt get in the way or writing and stuff!

i have a few singles that are staples for me and i wear them with most outfits, sometimes i wear others as well. i’ve worn my flower cuff a few times but i don’t really have any 3d cuffs yet so idk for those. when i’m wearing oversized or baggy long-sleeve shirts i wear kandi, but with tighter shirts it can get uncomfortable. as for breaking ones, i have yet to break one, tho a kid in my gym class broke a single and he had to pick all the beads up. if it breaks in the hallway, idk what your school’s rules are but i’ve literally picked up pony beads in the hall to keep cuz they’re just there

I’d recommend not wearing any 3D cuffs, or things with too many charms on it because when your arms are on a desk it’s super uncomfy, but apart from that I’d say just wear your kandi like normal (unless your school has a rule against “excessive jewellery” like mine lmao))

oh also! When it’s cold and I have to wear long sleeves/jumpers, I usually just don’t wear much kandi because it usually looks super strange on top of a jumper and when it’s underneath you can’t really see it. You can always wear a couple of singles when it’s cold still :3

i normally wear a bunch of singles under my school blazer + a short sleeved shirt (my blazer is big, so the singles dont rlly mess w/the arms), its a little annoying to write with, but you kinda get used to it! also good luck at school!!

in highschool especially, kandi really just gets in the way. i occasionally wear 2 singles on each wrist, but they get very much in the way while writing and typing 0_o if you make ur cuffs and singles large enough you can wear them above a sweatshirt, but they usually just look kind of odd like that XD

I usually just wear max 15-ish (total) singles and maybe a small cuff on my arms to match an outfit I'm wearing, but always wear a bi pride and agender pride single somewhere. That way they aren't too in the way if you write or have to change in the locker room at gym and you can always take them off and put them in your bag or pockets. As for hoodies, I roll up the sleeves of mine usually but if they don't stay up I live with it and take off the cuffs (they get itchy sometimes) because no one will see them so there's no point in wearing them.

i just wear singles, multistitch/peyote/ladder cuffs bc 3d ones r rlly big and its hard to rest my hand on a table w them and im worried they might be considered distracting. i always superglue the knots in my kandi so they dont break, i havent had any of them break so far unless they snap when i put them on bc i made them too tight/small, but wait until the glue is dry to put ur kandi on bc ive gotten my fingers stuck w glue like 3 times lol. i put my kandi over arm warmers when its cold, idk abt jackets or hoodies but if ur sleeves r tight enough u can put kandi over them. good luck !!

usually i wear even or odd peyote cuffs and a bunch of singles. i also wear a few necklaces but not huge perler ones lol. this year i might not wear as much cuz i need to take them off for gym lol. also a tip is to wear singles that are varying in bead sizes and shapes cuz the way it mixes with the pony beads look cool (ik i cant explain that well lol sorry)
