Whats the main problem with Homestuck´s epilogues?

I just ended Homestuck and im crying,barfing,everything you could imagine.

Soo,im pretty intrested in all the "We are searching 4 someone in a black hole and Nepeta got sucked",but everyone says that it is awful and i should not read it,what do i do?513b3952851d7_shrug.gif

@c00d: even without the epilogues i hate gamzee bcs of the whole "thing" with terezi (to not say he assaulted her...)

You can certainly read them if you want, but in my opinion, the epilogues basically throw out everything that was good and meaningful about the characters, world, and storytelling of Homestuck. It's a lot of mean-spirited "edginess" that seems to exist solely for the sake of shock value and insulting the reader for daring to want a satisfactory conclusion to the story you spent so much time caring about.

if you'd like to have a good opinion about gamzee, jane, or literally anyone still standing then i suggest not reading them

@terminaIlyCapricious: yeah, I've read both the epilogues and hs^2, would have to agree

Commander Karkat tho... he's pretty much the only reason I'm still reading it, heh

idk i didnt read them but someone said (mostly in candy i think) theres sooo much mischaracterization and gross stuff and the writing is really creepy and basically the characters personalities just become s3cks and throw their entire character arc out the window
