Hi all!

The parking lot thing made me giggle. I've found so many toys/things just laying around random places.

Your local equivalent of Dollar Tree/Dollarama/Poundland. Bags of toys in thrift shops. Happy Meal toys. Five Below nearly always has stuff for a dollar. Aliexpress. Most craft stores ( always check for a coupon!). I find a lot of stuff in parking lots for some reason. Cheap eBay jewelry. Party stores. Ben Franklin.
