personally i learned about kandi maybe two months ago, i have been doing perler beads for a while, so i looked up patterns, then i came accross this website, so i looked around and searched up what a bunch of things were (like kandi cuffs, ties, mask etc.), thats how i learned!dance

i got into it somewhere between 2015 and 2016, i received a amazon box filled with mixed beads from my cousin because she was getting rid of things she no longer needed before college and i've been hooked ever since, definitely one of the greatest gifts i've ever gotten because because i'm still making things to this day, cant thank her enough for getting me started.w03

Nice!!! Ive always loved pearlers, but until recently i didnt use references meaning I didn't search them up either (I called them "iron beads" btw lol)

I found out through a YouTube channel, I don't remember their name but I think it was "crystal.crow" or something? They were a Kandi kid and that was my introduction and now I'm obsessed :3 tbh confetti

As a kid i made loom band braclets and kandi, just as a kid thing, and then in middle school I started to embrace being emo and quickly found out what kandi was.

in 2022 my bsf had singles and so he made me 1 and I just started wearing brackets after that, not even specifically kandi. I eventually bought sum beads (not pony beads) and then I did eventually start making actual kandi
