What does it mean when someone is a system? I just know some people on here are, and I'm not really sure what it means. I don't want to be rude or anything. Can someone please explain it to me? Ty!!!!

A system is most basically defined as multiple people and/or conscious beings sharing a body. Commonly this comes with DID or OSDD-1 (dissociative identity disorder, other specified dissociative disorder-1) but some people don't have DID or OSDD but still share a body with some other people.

Often you'll see these systems sharing one account on a social platform, as making multiple E-mails and multiple accounts while only having one body would be a mess. There might be different names and/or pronouns, some people signify this with a sign-off (signature, initials, etc in a message/post) and others just go with a common/group name that everyone agreed on. Everyone's different.

Personally we just use a common/group name.
