(caps warning) is manic panic hair dye safe??

im so confused bcs i see some people being like "oh yea its totes safe!!!" and then i go on the walmart website and it says it has a chemical in it that CAUSES CANCER?? im so confused 513b55c6e7e8b_kao_blank.gif

its safe but not v strong- I only use it for like quick refreshes of color in between bleaches/dyes. Only lasts a few weeks and the color isnt v. noticeable in my experience. If you want something stronger id do Punky Color or Splat (don't use the splat brand bleach tho, thats not good 4 ur hair)

I mean extended exposure to a bunch of things can do that. Don't ingest it and you should be fine, plenty of people have used it a bunch and I don't think much would come of it. Also if you want it to come out quickly you can leave it in your hair for a shorter amount of time.

ive used mani panic like 3 times and it's worked pretty well for semi permanent dye. The first 2 times I used electric lizard which stayed for a while. The next time I used that and hot hot pink which faded really quickly. But I haven't had any medical related problems with it. I saw another person recommendarctic fox but I've heard bad things about their owner rainbowsmile

@clyde_infestation: 4 - 8 weeks depending on if you bleach your hair before and what color you use.

From my experience it’s pretty safe, just don’t get it on your hands cause it will stay there for a bit from the last time I used it. Doesn’t last a while though had pink and it lasted maybe a week or two and almost took up the whole jar for a few highlights in my hair. So if you are looking for soemthing like that it’s perfect!

@love1yric: how long does it take for arctic fox to come out? i forgot to mention this but im looking for hair dyes that will come out in less than a month/a few weeks

it's safe but it doesn't last as long and it damages your hair A LOT. i used it for a while and it made my hair feel fake, it made it dry, and it gave me split ends that never go away. it's a good hair-dye brand but i personally don't recommend it. i recommend Arctic Fox w03
