I get my Perler beads at hobby lobby or Michaels, or online. And my peg boards from amazon

How to do perlers, is simple. First, You have your perler design, then you put that design onto your peg board, LIke pixel art. (I usually do the outline first, then work my colors in order of the rainbow) Then after your finish, you take your parchment paper, place it over your perler, then iron it. (I have mine on the highest setting for faster results. but all Ironing tools are different) After wards, wait about 2-3 minutes till you take the parchment paper off then your done

for buying the supplies you could probably go to a craft store, 5below has them sometimes, even the stores like walmart and target in their craft aisle (i think, mostly confident in target though). For making it just think of it like a pixel art. Look at your pattern and put the colors in the areas you see them. sometimes going row by row helps. I hope this was able to help. im not really the best explainer

most of the making process is putting the beads onto the board, but!! melting is the next step. once you get them the way you want them, put some parchment paper on top of your design and grab an iron. you can buy the paper in the same aisle at a grocery store as tin foil and saran wrap if you don't already have it - the important part is that it's cooking paper that won't burn/melt. once you've got it covered, pass the iron over the beads until they fuse (doesn't take long, like 10-20s depending on your iron). you can flip it over once it's off the peg board and do it again to make it stronger but if you like the rough look you can leave just one side

that's just one way to do it tho, some people use the oven so def look up different tutorials for different results

Something else important to note is that there are different types of peg boards! Some are grids, others are in shapes or don't have the pegs in straight rows/columns, so double check what kind your pattern calls for before you get frustrated that it isn't lining up the way it should

most of all have fun w it!! kao yes

There are loads of starter kits out there for $1-20 with beads, instructions, and a board. Get a couple of rainbow/alien head kits and see how you get on. Dollar store, five below, Michaels, most discount stores, Amazon, etc. Check out some YouTube tutorials.

find a pattern and put the corresponding beads on the pegs!
