you could cut some leggings or socks to make arm or leg warmers. As for Kandi I personally don't like wearing it whilst wearing a coat but if you are okay with it you could wear your kandi underneath your coat and just take your coat off when inside. Also if it is above 45 degrees you can probably comfortably wear a tee shirt over a colorful long-sleeved shirt without danger of freezing.

I dress emo, not scene, but here’s my advice: zip up sweaters are warm and you can layer them if they’re bigger, if they’re fitted they’re still warm and look really 2000s I think. Beanies are like a staple for scene and emos cause it’ll keep your hair in place when it’s windy. I wear headphones all the time and that keeps my ears warm so you could probably do that too. and you could probably wear a leather jacket and still make it look scene too. Scene doesn’t really have a strict dress code (if you have scene hair you can make any outfit look scene tbh), so you could easily wear a plain sweater, and you can put shirts underneath it too so it’s warmer. I think colorful tights under ripped black skinny jeans always look good, and you can always wear long socks too ^_^ generally just layer everything on top of eachother and you should be goo

if you can handle it sensory-wise, you can layer shorts with multiple types of tights + legwarmers!!! decently warm. you can also get things like long fingerless gloves, a pop-culture-y hat (like a pokemon hat, cookie monster hat, or even one of those bunny hats), any black or pop-culture-y jacket (like, yk, that one gir hoodie, or a hoodie with an anime thing on it or somfin), and a baggy shirt. it's still not bundled-up warm but it's good for frigid weather.

(all of those things layer pretty well with kandi! big cuffs prolly wont be the bestttt with a long sleeved jacket but flat cuffs and singles can def be worn under them, as long as you don't go too hard with it that'll just be uncomfortable)

in my opinion one of the keys to scene fashion is just, layering!!! along with pop culture and band references. i like those lol.

so, here are a few things i did:

- layered arm warmers and fingerless gloves, wearing the kandi on the outside of those

- wore leggings and leg warmers together, as well as two pairs of socks in shoes

- combat boots are your friend !! i know that they aren't the most "scene" but they are warm and you can decorate the laces

- torn jeans are also your friend , you can wear neon leggings or tights under them to stay warmer

- hoodies can be very scene when worn right, and are very cozy. just go for ones that have bright colors or scene designs

- i would wear fishnets, then torn tights over the top of that for extra warmth. then a skirt or whatever bottoms you prefer

- ignore fashion when outside, like, genuinely just go for warmth. you can shed layers at school or the mall or whatever, but you can't add them!!

- i am BEGGING you, save the converse for summer. the amount of times i almost broke a hip slipping on the snow in them ToT
