They blocked the camera app meaning no more using flipgrid (in band, we use flipgrid if we want to pass an objective at home ) //anderz and florence

my school blocked a ton of article websites i mean like, washington post, etc, it was so funny because teachers didn't have any websites blocked and would assign that we read articles and no one would be able to because they'd all be blocked LMAO

i was in a school that banned recess roleplays (surprisingly it wasn’t warrior cats, it was five nights at freddys), and recess clubs because they were exclusive and left kids out (fair, but they barely enforced it) but also banned TAG and HULA HOOPS. tag was because kids were tripping (thats their own fault, no need to punish the rest because a couple kids didn’t tie their shoelaces), and then hula hoops because the 1st graders and below were demons and kept breaking them and throwing them at other kids.

they banned lolbeans which is basically a game it basically fake fall guys but kinda better
they banned pintrest ;{
they banned wattpad but not really basically if you have a wattpad account and try to log into wattpad the school gives u like an error messages saying "you can't log in because your shcool blocked this website" which is fine cuz i can still read fanfic and stuff but like why not banned the whole thing if i cant even log in

certain apps like webtoon , ao3 and a bunch of gaming website when u go home and use ur school computer at home. Most of these website wont work and say it blcoked

they block any terms relating to gambling, which i understand, but come on i was simply trying to find the answers to an edpuzzle on quizlet

edit: i can literally bypass it with using numbers in place of the letters, and spacing

my school also blocked our ability to bookmark things and edit our bookmarks for like a month

for some reason they blocked griddrawingtool.com last year, which a lot of vis art kids use for their charcoal finals. i have no idea why but it got whitelisted again this year lol.

Okay yall gotta hear me out for this one....

So this one 7th grader who I kinda know made a group chat using google chat. Now in this group chat... there were 3,000+ people in it. This kid, put the entire school district in the chat, all the elementary, middle, and high schools, teachers included. Now at first, not many people had accepted the invite or even knew about it... until a friend of mine decided to do the funniest/dumbest thing, he typed "@all" and hit send... HE DID THAT MULTIPLE TIMES!!! Soon everyone knew about the chat, and the very next day google chat/hangouts got removed and he got a referral.

We used to use Pinterest a ton in my art classes and it was completely fine for years, until one day staff decided any and all social media was evil. Funnily enough, the school has to go through a whole process with paperwork n stuff to delete apps off of iPads so all banned apps are still there, just unusable and taking up storage lmaoo
