I have a hard time thinking about any of the V3 characters fondly knowing that alot of them were completely mischaracterized in the translation. Regardless of this Korekiyo was my favorite character.

Celeste is the worst character in thh for basically be responsible for not only the worst chapter in the first game but also cutting off the whole Kiyondo thing short before the story could do anything substantial with it. Other then that her personality lacked the depth for me to remember her for anything but those points.

Hifumi wasn't a creep and im sick of people who characterize him as such. The writing is very specific to state that he has no interest in real people and only fiction.

I have no idea why people like Mikan or Soda, they're both super unlikable or down right annoying.

Ryota and the Imposter are the only good things about the dangan 3 anime but the plot surrounding Ryota was fucking stupid

1. Mikan is talked about w a y too much. Honestly, she was a very forgettable and stereotypical character in my opinion.

2. I dislike the murderer x victim ships. I don't know, I just genuinely can't see the chemistry of literally any of them

3. TeruTeru isn't as bad as people make him sound. He's a stereotypical horny high school boy, that's kinda it. Not really that bad, but nothing interesting so although not bad compared to other characters in the series (Especially Miu especially). Easier to dislike than like, but over all not super awful in the grand scheme

4. Korekiyo could've been an interesting character if he was written differently.

5. Same with Nagito. As he is he is very annoying and one dimensional.

6. KAEDE DESERVED BETTER. A female protagonist for the third game would've been so cool, especially a protagonist who had a defined ultimate. I was so eager when i first started the third game because I thought she was adorable, and bubbly, and clever (A big change compared to the previous protagonists) and I was disappointed severely by the events of the first trial.

I have...so so many hot takes but i'm completely blanking on them. Thank you so much for asking, thinking about it kinda rekindled my thought and care for the game

@Fluorite_Draws: In my opinion if they do makea future danganronpa game, I really want monaca to be in it, and not as a mastermind or balckened, like imagine this :

she has to live through a killing game the person she used to look up to caused to become soemthing that happened a lot, ( not junko making this one what i mean is she made the first one ), and she has to deal with an inner conflict of what junko taught her, her trying not to be like junko anymore ( In the danganronpa anime she lost interest in despair ), but her still keeping her whole demeaner of not caring,, then having some other character help her, and she could get a character ark there and become a better person

she doesnt have to become invested in hope, just not return to tryign to cause despair

I would love to see that, monaca would make the best protagonist

also perhaps have jataro kemuri or masaru daimon be there too, because they didnt get a lot of attention or time to develop in ultra despair girls

i reallly really want that to happen that would be so cool
