people can like whatever they want and call themselves whatever they want stop telling them they cant just cuz they dont do it exactly how you do.

the "tiktok emos" may be annoying but leave them be they arnt hurting you. you wouldnt like it if they called you a poser stop it it doesnt make you cool

gatekeeping surrounding appearances pisses me off the most because so many of the ""rules"" people try to uphold are blatantly classist and eurocentric. some peoples hair textures will never be completely straight. not everyone can afford to dress the way people expect them to. no one should be pressured to alter any part of their natural bodies with our human history of marginalizing people for their bodies.

@trans_toast: it's so annoying, like i get not wanting ppl who don't listen in the music calling themselves emo. but it's so dumb to get mad because someone doesn't have the exact hair or whatever
