I need help- /pos

So I need some help. I love making perlers but every time I go to iron them I can never get them even enough. And with the bigger ones the beads like to shift and tip over. It's always just so frustrating. Could someone please give me some advice for how to iron them evenly and iron them without having the beads move?

i lift the paper a little bit and if i see the perlers sticking i unstick them myself. i somtimes press something down on it like the bottom of a bowl so it stays down
