okay so, i'm relatively familiar with how to make most articles of kandi and the peyote stitch itself. however, looking at this bikini pattern, i am totally lost as to how to make it. do i start with the colors on the sides and then fill in the pattern as i go? or do i work in a different direction, like from the top and go down? i'm also not sure how it's supposed to take on this round shape once i make it. most other bikini patterns i've seen are triangular and don't match the way this one looks.

@Peanut: Thank you so much!! I would absolutely love to see a visual explanation for how to do this if you have the time to make a TikTok. I will definitely message you about the sizing/band making too, as I'm probably gonna need to make it smaller to wear comfortably. I appreciate your offer so freaking much, thank you <333

Start from the longest row. If you need like a TikTok tutorial for help I don't mind making something for you to visually explain if you need and help you work through it. I am really well practiced with peyote style and reenforced styles for clothes and bookbags

Hi!!

I would personally start in the middle of the pattern, like if it was bottom to top, row 12ish. Then work either up or down.

So like start in the middle, then add the top to it, then add the bottom yknow?

and the bottom part of it seems to be what's making it round, so I'd sew that part up like a surgical mask.

that pattern is pretty confusing! its more shaped like a mask, but here's how i would make it. i would make it sideways, from left to right, and treat it like a peyote charm. i think the little cut out at the bottom is used to make it a little rounder, like a mask.
