okay so basically I've been dating my partner for a few weeks and they love giving me compliments but i dunno what to say backkkkk! i need som gender neutral compliments and i've found some but enoughhhh!grrr

also both me and my partner are poly and i wanna ask them if we could start an open relationship how do i ask thatttt!

open relationships !!

- make sure you are in a good place in the partnership before asking ! this is so crucial . if they are struggling emotionally , it can be really stressful to add a new element to a relationship , and they may have issues saying no. on the same train of thought , make sure YOU are in a good place emotionally before asking !!

- Be open !! you don't need to be formal with them , but be honest say what you want from the relationship directly , don't beat around the bush , it can cause a lot of misunderstanding.

- Reassure your partner. Remind them that you still like them, and that its not an issue of them not being enough . even polyamorus ppl can have doubts about it . / gen

maybe you could just wait until a time when there isnt anything important going on or its kinda a serious but okay mood and go "hey,have you ever thought about having an open relationship?" and see what they say? dont do it if youd think they get mad though or smth,just a suggestion of what me or someone i know wouold probably do,and oh,for gender nuetral compliments , "Are you a bee because you make my heart go bzzzzz"/j,just a bad pun,sorry if this comes off as unhelpful or unfunny,i wish you good luck with asking by the way
