Cute ftm hairstyles?

my hair is currently almost to my shoulders and is way too feminine, and I wanna get it cut before school starts in August. I was thinking about getting a pixie cut but I feel like that might look a little feminine too... any suggestions for a more masculine hairstyle? Oh and I also might dye it dark green, idk yet :/

you definatly want to chop your hair off urself (to like chin/neck length) then go to a barber or OPENLY andrygynes/trans friendly hair cut place. Bcc if you go to a hair salon to get your hair cut short while its long, no matter what you ask for/show them they will give you a pixie/karen cut lmao. Barbers r more used to doing masculine hair cuts. When i got my hair cut for the first time (it was a little longer than shoulder length) i asked them for this short masculine hair cut that had a fade at the bottem, and they made me look like your 40 yr white neighbor named katrina. It was terrable and i litteraly wanted to cry when the hair stylest asked if i liked it. A week later i went to a barber and it was fine, but like it was a weird converstaion when my mom (who wasnt ok w me being a man) wanted to know why i wanted a "boy haircut", on the plus side since then ive gotten 2 people to adress me as a guy, and my friends mom asking "why i look like a boy now", so yeah lmao, sorry if this seems like agrrivated or sum, im just really passionate about trans guys hair ig

edit: also, dont think of it as a "ftm hairstyle", think of it as a "im a guy who has long hair and needs to get it cut bc i want to"

heyo! i was wondering this too when getting my first "boy haircut", i recommend something fluffy or something close-to-the-head and flat. or just observe cis guys around you kao big grin heart bounce

try going to a barbershop instead of a hair salon and looking through the catalogs they have in the shop. usually they have little booklets or a board full of possible styles! dont think about it as an "ftm haircut" but just look through haircuts for boys and you should find something you like. good luck!
