@bl00dy_b4nd41dzz: Fictives develop for multiple reasons, the system could see the character as a protective figure or feel if they were the character then they could escape what happened to them, (Example: Child is abused. Child knows that superman saves people. Child forms a superman fictive as someone to protect them).

@Jase_Burton: I think it depends on the system honestly, some are okay with being referred to as a singular name and some aren’t , it also depends on the circumstances like if they’ve already told the person (who you’re talking with) that their a system and things like that.

I really don’t know a bunch, (like theres definitely stuff im not aware of) but our amnesia barriers are relatively low because of the fact we’re polyfragmented. And we try to get everyone to write down basic information about themselves if and when they front for the first time.

how do you know so much about your system

@lucifers_kandi11: I wouldn’t say being a system is like a good thing, per say because we exist like this due to childhood trauma. But the human mind is quite remarkable for creating this kind of coping mechanism. So it’s cool, psychologically speaking at least.
