like i get the exchange rates and stuff but i dont really understand what stuff is worth in other currencies if that makes sense? like lets say i look at a toothbrush in a store and its $5 AUD. i have like an internal understanding of exactly how much thats worth and if its expensive or cheap and stuff.. now lets say i go to russia and a toothbruth is 300 rubles. what?!?!?!??! thats like a whole different number??!?!?! how am i supposed to comprehend that?!?!?!?513b39527b090_scared.gif

i wanna like get used to other currencies especially the euro since im going to live in finland but idk if ill ever be able to tell immediately how much something really is just by looking at the price tag- idk let me know if this makes no sense or if its #truthbomb

well when you move to another country you will have that countrys currency so you will understand better lmao. Like 1 AUD is .75USD, so if you move from america to AUstrallia you dont have US dollars, you have Australlian moneys. SO instead of doing whatever the price (15 dollars for example) in australlia multplied by .75, you just get out 15 AUD sorry if thats confusing lmao

Edit: you siad it was hard to read other currencies but your using that currency instead of a diff countrys so if it sayd 15 rubble or whatever tf it is, you get out 15 of that currency, rather than doing math and getting the money from a diff country out

1 euro is 1.48 aud

For the 300 rubles that would be 4.89 aud and for one aud that would be roughly 61.39 rubles -Finn
