What does PLUR ACTUALLY mean?

My understanding of PLUR has always been in a nutshell "Treat everyone with kindess and respect in your life even if you disagree with them or have differences" which I've always embraced due to it going hand in hand with my Christian lifestyle! But I'm seeing more and more definitions of it (It's only to be used at raves, it's apparently just a handshake...?) and I'm honestly confused af at this point lmao- What does PLUR ACTUALLY mean? Was my definition of it correct? Is it just one of those things where it's up to interpretation? Maybe I shouldn't have used Wikipedia to define PLUR for me all those months ago, lol!
Edit: PLEASE answer with what you believe PLUR is, not your political opinion with "PLUR" slapped onto it. I want to know what PLUR entails, not what you want it to entail

cheer“peace, love, unity, and respect” basically meaning treat ur fellow ravers and ppl who wear/trade kandi well yk. imo its kinda like treat others how u wanna be treated love

although it is a trading handshake it also is kinda like a raver lifestyle

plur stands for peace love unity and respect, so generally, your definition is correct! there is a corresponding hand shake used during kandi trades at raves, etc.

in my own words, i think plur means to be kind to everybody, respect everybody’s views and beliefs and be generally peaceful happy
