when did you start learning how to make x base cuffs?

i just learned on friday lol

i feel like it should have been one of the first i learned how to make, but i started with an even peyote, then a flower cuff, then a mask, then multistitch, and now, more than a year into making kandi, and x based cuff

it was one of the later cuffs i learned bcus the tutorials confused me at first lol.. but somewhere around feb 2019

peyote cuff is a must learn, i think it helped me understand every single other pattern after that lol! i made an x cuff early, i think if u can do something as hard as a flower cuff, an x pattern is a no brainer. its so fun and adds a lot of texture

I learnt how to make a very bad few singles, and then a flower cuff! The ended up all pretty loose but I made my first x base from a Vicky Muffins tutorial, which was every helpful! Even though mine kind of sucked, it was very clear in what to do. I still have my first one today!

(I made the x base maybe around like July/August 2021

it was one of the first things i learned (i got into kandi about a year nd a half ago) (i learned flower cuff then x-base) but it was simply becuz i found out abt kandi thru seeing 3d cuffs nd thought they were cool and wanted to make them :]
