If you have a small enough bit you can just drill through toys, but sometimes solid plastic has very hard chunks inside that can cause accidents. And I'm super careful about working with sharp stuff at night since the time I was modifying an action figure late one Sunday and simultaneously sliced open my left knuckle with an X-Acto and made a tube of superglue gel explode in my face and cement my hands together.
