ah, i have a similar problem. usually i download the patterns and put them onto one of the preset ibs paint x canvas sizes, i forgot which one though, whichever one looks the size of printer paper.
now, im not sure if you have access to a printer or not, if not, you could trace the spots with markers over the screen, if that makes any sense

i’m not really sure how you would be able to explain them, but maybe you can try redrawing them? either draw them on grid paper, or make your own grids!
