You're not the only one at all!! The size def matters, especially if you're making like a mask or cuff, screws up the look of the pattern! That's why if I buy beads in any store, I just stick to Michael's, but I usually just get them online at one online store (PonyBeadStore.com) which are the same size as the Michael's ones happy You are def not alone!! <3 <3 <3

I usually use 15-25 pound tests depending on what I make. A cuff would be 20 and a mask will be 25.

I usually use 12lb for mask, it makes it easier to work with and tie off.

The stitch is for making Kandi masks and cuffs, while the square, circle and other ones are for Fuse beads.

It is bad to ask for money for kandi unless it is to ONLY cover supplies for a large cration for a good friend like a gas mask. You may recieve payment but not ask is a good rule because its controvercial to ask for money but nothing in this world is free.

i would say start it like you would a mask, with the two-one-two bead and string pattern. then just use a real clasp. i feel like you're gonna need some heavy duty string though.

@DerpyHoovesZXZ:

Absolutely!

Do you want perler patterns, regular bead patterns? masks? which characters from Deadman Wonderland would you like?

Same for Teto, what type of pattern would you like?

I prefer Fishing line for mask. It holds better and doesn't stretch out of shape when you put it on like it sometimes does with stretch magic.

You might find that the mask pattern I use will work better for you. ^-^ I'll give you a link to one of my patterns, and you can always open it in the pattern maker and draw your own design over the shape! If it's too wide, you can just erase columns off of the sides, but make sure to keep the number of columns odd or the stitch won't look right.

It will also help if you sew the two points at the top and also the bottom together so that it will lay on your face nicely. The way it's done is to put the string through the middle bead and the two beads next to it, and then lace it up like a corset and tie it at the top. I couldn't find a good tutorial for you on that, but try searching for it if you are having trouble. ^-^

An account would be good idea. I had to learn how to make masks and the like from videos because the explanations for them were more confusing than a cuff ( I learned how to make cuffs from the site's tutorial). If you do themes and charms I think it would make people interested.

Make sure to consider the dress code. I have friends who go, my family doesn't let me yet, but I'm also pretty chubby. Be sure that its something loose, but not too revealing, (im chubby too -w- chub power) and I've ordered legwarmers because I'm insecure about my stretch marks, but usually a tee, a tank, and some shorts work pretty well. Masks can be pretty rad too. hope this helped!
